United Way Community Campaign Tops $5 Million
BF Goodrich Wins Top Campaign Award

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – United Way of Allen County President and CEO Todd Stephenson and Campaign Chair Chris Sosebee announced community campaign results at a celebration breakfast today at the Grand Wayne Center. This year’s total is the second consecutive year of results over the thresh hold of $5 million.

Annual Report Published Showing Increase in Calls
 
FORT WAYNE (February 8, 2013) – United Way of Allen County’s 2-1-1 Services continue to expand to meet more needs in Northeast Indiana. The program initially covered 10 counties: Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells and Whitley. As of January 2013, 2-1-1 now covers Blackford, Grant and Jay counties as well, making the total counties served 13.

Allen County FamilyWize Hits $1 Million in Savings
Costs of prescriptions lowered by 31%; YMCA to help distribute cards
 
(January 9, 2013) — A simple card distributed in Allen County over the past five and a half years has saved local residents over $1 million on prescription drugs. The major accomplishment for the local FamilyWize prescription drug discount card program was announced today by United Way of Allen County and the Allen County Commissioners’ office.
