Jeanne Zehr to Lead United Way’s Community Impact Team

FORT WAYNE, Ind.– United Way of Allen County welcomes Jeanne Zehr as Director of Community Impact. Zehr will start her new position Monday, July 23, 2012 and will lead United Way’s education initiatives and community involvement.
 
Zehr holds a doctorate in educational leadership from Indiana State University. She has worked in public education in Allen County and been an active community volunteer. She served as a representative on United Way’s Learn United Policy Council and has been a key volunteer for community collaboration to support Burmese refugees.
 
“I am excited to have Jeanne on board,” said Todd Stephenson, president and CEO of United Way of Allen County. “Her depth of knowledge and involvement in the community will be a great resource for our staff and volunteers. I know she will help us build on past accomplishments and become a truly exceptional United Way”
